Taylor “Bella” Guidry

Taylor Barrett attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and majored in Occupational Safety and Health and minored in General Business. Taylor, also known as her college nickname Bella, was recruited for the volleyball team under the direction of Skip Freeman. Her career at Southeastern lasted from 2009-2013 where she was awarded a few Defensive Player of the Week’s and managed to make the list for school records. During her summers in college, she would return to Flower Mound and assist and coach at the Flower Mound High School Summer Volleyball Camp. In the spring of 2011, Southeastern partnered with Red River Special Olympics and helped train/teach Volleyball to the local Special Olympics Team. In 2013, Bella was asked to be the assistant coach for the Red River Special Olympics Team. They traveled to Adult Nationals where they finished 4th. With her return to North Texas in 2018, Bella assisted 14 Gold in her first debut assistant season for Dallas Arsenal. They earned their bid at a national qualifier and made their appearance at Nationals in 2019.
