Taylor “Bella” Guidry

Taylor “Bella” Guidry lives and breathes North Texas Volleyball. As both a coach and player, Bella has spent nearly 20 years in the highly competitive region, playing to win and coaching her teams to compete and succeed at the highest echelon of the volleyball world.

Since 2018, she has served as an assistant coach on Arsenal’s top-level teams, every season. In her debut season as a coach, Bella’s team, 14 Gold, qualified at PNQ and earned a bid to Nationals. She continues to help grow the club with her laser focus on developing players’ skill progression, understanding of in-game strategy, and utilizing stats to further performance on the court.

Now in her eighth season with the club, Bella has stepped into the role of Director of Marketing and Communications, and she is leading the charge as the Head Coach for 17 Gold, the club’s top-level 17’s team. Bella helps players develop the confidence and mental fortitude required to play at the next level, and she has helped numerous players get recruited by top-level volleyball programs, in various divisions across the country. She understands, from personal experience, what it takes to play at a high level and believes in challenging her players to push themselves to achieve more and secure winning outcomes. Bella works closely with the other club directors to elevate the level of play at Arsenal, and to produce well-rounded, quality athletes, and exemplary teammates.

Prior to her coaching career, Skip Freeman recruited Bella to play on Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s Women’s Volleyball Team, a highly regarded Division II program. During her time at Southeastern (2009-2013), Bella was recognized multiple times as the Defensive Player of the Week, and she is one of the record holders at Southeastern for Aces, Digs, and Number of Points During Serve. She was the starting libero and a captain for 3 years during the 2011-2013 seasons.

Bella’s passion for coaching started while she was in college. During summer break, she served as a coach for the Flower Mound High School Summer Volleyball Camps. In the spring of 2011, Southeastern partnered with Red River Special Olympics where she was part of a team of coaches who trained and taught the team volleyball. In 2015, she was asked to be the assistant coach for the Red River Special Olympics Team and to run practices. The team played at Adult Nationals and achieved an impressive 4th place finish. There was even an article written by USAV with the team and Coach Bella on the cover!

Bella earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health and minored in General Business at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. When she is not at Net Results helping players grow their volleyball skills, she works in the Insurance Industry as a Safety Consultant. Bella is married to Hunter, and she’s a dog mom to her two adorable pups, Jax and Millie.
