Kirby Anderson
Coach Kirby Anderson has been coaching for four years and is in her first season at Dallas Arsenal. Prior to Arsenal she coached at Luna Volleyball Academy where she primarily led 16U and 17U teams.
Kirby played volleyball for nine years. She went to and played at Duncanville High School and continued her education and played volleyball for 5 years at the Division I level. She played two years at South Carolina State University before transferring and finishing her career at Texas Southern University for three years, playing as a middle blocker. She competed in Open Level volleyball in North Texas, including a third place finish at Nationals. Her collegiate accolades include multiple defensive and offensive awards, MVP honors, Preseason SWAC Conference Player of the Year, as well as First Team All-Conference selections in both the SWAC and MEAC.
Her favorite part of coaching is building lasting relationships with players, families, and fellow coaches. She credits the support from her volleyball community for helping shape her into a confident and passionate leader for young athletes. Coach Anderson believes that respect, selflessness, and shared goals are the foundation of a successful team. She strives to instill values like patience, competitiveness, discipline, teamwork, and respect in every athlete she coaches—skills that go far beyond the volleyball court.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and currently serves as a teacher and coach at Naaman Forest High School. Coach Anderson is thrilled to be a part of the Arsenal family and is excited for the season ahead!
