Hannah Cunningham
Coach Hannah brings six years of coaching experience and a deep love for the game to every team she works with. She began coaching in 2020 as an 11s assistant with Arsenal Volleyball Club, and has since coached at multiple levels and programs, including Prosper Elite (14s) and Elevate (13s). After taking a year off to welcome her first child, she returned to Arsenal with a renewed passion for developing athletes and building meaningful team experiences.
As a player, Hannah was a middle/right-side hitter who competed from 6th grade through high school at Allen High School. A Dallas Arsenal Alum, she was part of back-to-back American Division National Championship teams in 2016 and 2017. She continued her career at North Central Texas Junior College level as a starter until a career ending injury.
Hannah coaches with a strong emphasis on joy, growth, and perspective. She believes in embracing the thrill of the game regardless of the outcome and is passionate about helping athletes grow both on and off the court. Her goal is to teach players what it truly means to be an athlete—focusing on effort, character, and development over simply winning.
One of her favorite coaching memories came when she stepped into an older age group unexpectedly and led the team to a gold medal finish at a regional tournament—an experience that reinforced her ability to connect, adapt, and lead under pressure.
Outside of volleyball, Hannah works as an Operations Assistant for Benjamin Moore Paint and is a full-time mom to her 8-month-old. She shares life with her husband whom she met and married after a whirlwind “love at first sight” beginning and her 7-year-old dog, who has been her constant companion since she was 19. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with friends and family.
